  1. Develop and produce engaging and informative news content for CNN Newsroom Weekend Night program.
  2. Stay up-to-date on current events, breaking news, and industry trends to ensure timely and accurate coverage.
  3. Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and other team members to develop and execute show ideas.
  4. Pitch and research compelling story ideas and angles.
  5. Manage and prioritize multiple stories and projects simultaneously.
  6. Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
  7. Work closely with the editorial team to maintain high journalistic standards and uphold CNN's brand and reputation.
  8. Monitor and analyze ratings and audience feedback to continuously improve show performance.
  9. Coordinate with technical and production teams to ensure smooth execution of live shows.
  10. Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills and grow within the organization.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with key industry contacts and sources.
  12. Adhere to strict deadlines and manage time effectively to meet show and network requirements.
  13. Collaborate with social media and digital teams to create and promote online content.
  14. Stay updated on industry regulations and ethical standards to ensure compliance.
  15. Represent CNN and the Newsroom Weekend Night team at industry events and conferences.

  • Strong Journalistic Background: A Producer At Cnn Newsroom Weekend Night Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Current Events And The Ability To Research And Gather Information Quickly And Accurately.
