- Operate and maintain Master Control Room (MCR) equipment to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of content to audiences.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts or pre-recorded content playback.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper scheduling and delivery of content.
- Continuously monitor broadcast signals and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in MCR technology to improve processes and enhance content delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all MCR operations and report any issues or discrepancies to management.
- Train and mentor junior MCR operators to ensure a strong and skilled team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate with external vendors and service providers to resolve any technical issues or equipment maintenance needs.
- Participate in occasional on-call duties to handle any urgent technical issues outside of regular business hours.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and operation of MCR equipment.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all content meets broadcast standards and regulations.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of content.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential technical issues to prevent disruptions to broadcast operations.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and enhance overall quality of content delivery.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Media Control Room (Mcr) Operations.
Knowledge And Experience With Broadcast Equipment And Systems, Including Routers, Switchers, Servers, And Audio/Video Processing Equipment.
Strong Troubleshooting Skills And Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
