Manager - Accounting

1. Manage and oversee all financial activities of the company, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including reconciliations and journal entries.
3. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
4. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information is provided for decision making.
7. Hire, train, and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
10. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes and increase efficiency.
11. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
12. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure company compliance.
13. Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial insights and analysis.
14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance.
15. Serve as a key point of contact for all accounting-related inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
