- Advise and support the global business operations of WarnerMedia in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to mitigate potential legal risks.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Review and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with employment laws in all business practices.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in employment laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Handle any legal disputes or claims related to employment matters.
- Act as a legal representative for the company in employment-related legal proceedings.
- Train and educate employees and management on employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee and manage a team of employment law professionals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other relevant parties.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on employment law matters.
- Participate in the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
A Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
At Least 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Employment Law, Preferably In A Media Or Entertainment Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Collaborate With Senior Executives And Hr Teams.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Resolving Complex Employment-Related Legal Matters, Including Discrimination Claims, Wage And Hour Issues, And Workplace Investigations.
