  1. Develop and implement comprehensive and innovative publicity strategies to promote WarnerMedia and its brands and content across various media platforms.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and visibility for WarnerMedia.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, social media, and creative, to ensure cohesive messaging and execution of campaigns.
  4. Create and manage budgets for publicity activities and ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities for media coverage and brand partnerships.
  6. Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to inform strategy and make adjustments as needed.
  7. Serve as a spokesperson for WarnerMedia, effectively communicating key messages and handling crisis communications when necessary.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of publicists, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
  9. Represent WarnerMedia at industry events and conferences, networking and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve publicity processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new trends in publicity and incorporate them into strategies and campaigns.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing and publicity plans for major projects and initiatives.
  13. Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and services.
  14. Uphold and promote the values and mission of WarnerMedia in all communications and interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Public Relations: The Ideal Candidate For The Director Of Publicity Position At Warnermedia Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Public Relations, Preferably In The Media And Entertainment Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Media Relations, Crisis Communications, And Event Planning.

  • Strong Communication And Writing Skills: The Director Of Publicity Will Be Responsible For Crafting And Disseminating Key Messages To The Media And The Public. Therefore, They Should Possess Exceptional Communication And Writing Skills To Effectively Convey The Company's Messaging And Brand Image.

  • Leadership And Team Management: As A Senior-Level Position, The Director Of Publicity Should Have Proven Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Effectively. They Should Be Able To Set Clear Goals, Delegate Tasks, And Motivate Their Team To Achieve Results.

  • Strategic Thinking And Planning: The Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Develop Effective Pr Campaigns And Initiatives. They Should Also Have Experience In Creating And Executing Long-Term Publicity Plans That Align With The Company's Overall Goals.

  • Industry Knowledge And Network: The Director Of Publicity Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Media And Entertainment Industry, Including Trends, Key Players, And Media Outlets. They Should Also Have A Vast Network Of Media Contacts And Influencers That They Can Leverage For Pr Opportunities And Partnerships.
