- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all broadcast systems, including hardware, software, and networking components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise with broadcast equipment, ensuring minimal disruptions to on-air operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain new broadcast systems and workflows.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address any potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology, making recommendations for upgrades or changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on broadcast technology and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Communicate and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for equipment purchases, repairs, and upgrades.
- Adhere to all company and industry standards and regulations related to broadcast technology and operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding promptly and effectively to any technical inquiries or requests.
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available for support during non-business hours as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks and security threats to the broadcast systems.
- Work collaboratively with other IT and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may impact the overall technology infrastructure.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In A Media Or Entertainment Company.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Broadcast And It Systems, Including Video And Audio Codecs, Routers, Servers, And Storage.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Resolve Technical Issues And Minimize Downtime.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Protocols, Such As Smpte, Aes, And Ebu, And Experience Implementing And Maintaining Them In A Production Environment.
