- Maintain and troubleshoot broadcast systems and technology to ensure continuous operations and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Implement new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and enhance the overall broadcasting experience.
- Monitor and maintain broadcast equipment, including servers, routers, switches, and storage systems.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and system diagrams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology to make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and colleagues as needed.
- Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to information security and data protection.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and implement new broadcast systems and technology.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical systems outside of business hours.
- Continuously evaluate and improve broadcast workflows to increase efficiency and streamline processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and security of equipment.
- Act as a subject matter expert on broadcast technology and provide guidance and support to other team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Broadcast Engineering Or It Support In A Media/Entertainment Environment.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Broadcast Systems, Including Audio And Video Equipment, Transmission Systems, And Server-Based Systems.
Experience With Ip Networking, Routing, And Switching, As Well As Troubleshooting And Maintaining Network Infrastructure.
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues In A Fast-Paced, Live Broadcast Environment.
