As an Optical Keyholder, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our optical department and ensuring the highest level of customer service. - Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the optical department, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Ensure that all team members are trained and knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Warby Parker.
- Serve as a role model for the team by demonstrating excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the optical department and all product displays.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers and make recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, regarding eyewear sales and prescriptions.
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management.
Prior Experience In Retail Management Or Leadership Roles, Preferably In The Optical Industry.
Strong Customer Service Skills And Ability To Provide Exceptional Shopping Experiences For Customers.
Knowledge Of Optical Terminology And Ability To Assist With Frame Selection And Lens Options.
Familiarity With Basic Optical Equipment And Procedures, Such As Frame Adjustments And Prescription Verification.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills To Effectively Manage Store Operations And Inventory.
