  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the optical department, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  2. Train and develop team members to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of product knowledge and expertise.
  3. Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to drive business and achieve revenue targets.
  4. Monitor and maintain store appearance and visual merchandising to ensure a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment for customers.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  6. Collaborate with the store manager to set and achieve goals for the department and provide regular updates on performance.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition to make informed decisions and keep the company at the forefront of the market.
  8. Assist in organizing and executing promotional events and marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  10. Use strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members to meet and exceed expectations.
  11. Work closely with the store manager to create schedules, manage payroll, and control expenses to meet budget targets.
  12. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.
  13. Collaborate with other departments within the company to share best practices and ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company's values and culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In The Optical Industry: A Successful Optical Assistant Manager At Warby Parker Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Optical Industry, Including Knowledge Of Eyewear Products, Lens Options, And Vision Insurance.

  • Management Or Leadership Experience: As An Assistant Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Opticians And Sales Associates. Therefore, Previous Experience In A Management Or Leadership Role Is Essential.
