
Optical Assistant Manager

- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Lead and support a team of optical associates, providing guidance, training, and feedback to promote a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all necessary supplies and products are available for patient and customer needs
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation of the optical department
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all Warby Parker products and services, and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers and team members
- Utilize optical equipment and tools to accurately measure and record patient prescriptions, as well as assist with frame selection and fittings
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive overall customer experience
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest ideas to enhance the optical department and customer experience
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and share this knowledge with the team to ensure a high level of expertise and service.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In The Optical Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Optical Retail Environment And Experience In Sales, Customer Service, And Managing A Team Is Essential For This Role.
Proven Leadership Skills: The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team, Set Goals, And Drive Results Is Crucial For Success As An Optical Assistant Manager.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Optical Assistant Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Customers And Employees, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must.
