
Optical Assistant Manager

- Provide exceptional customer service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, address any concerns or issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect eyewear: Utilize knowledge of current fashion trends and eyewear styles to help customers find frames and lenses that fit their unique style and needs.
- Supervise and train staff: Oversee the daily operations of the store and provide guidance and support to team members. Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Manage inventory and merchandising: Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are displayed effectively to maximize sales. Assist in regular inventory counts and restocking as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks: Assist in scheduling staff shifts, tracking sales and expenses, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized store: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times. Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints: Address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Store Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager: Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, implement marketing strategies, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and products: Attend trainings and workshops to stay current on the latest eyewear trends and products, and share this knowledge with the team.
- Uphold company values: Represent the company in a positive manner, adhere to company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
Previous Experience In The Optical Industry: The Ideal Candidate For An Optical Assistant Manager At Warby Parker Should Have Previous Experience Working In An Optical Setting, Either As An Optician Or In A Retail Environment.
