Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Warby Parker is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Optical Assistant Manager. As our Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers find the perfect frames and lenses to fit their unique style and needs. If you have a strong background in optometry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you!

  1. Provide exceptional customer service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, address any concerns or issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  2. Assist customers in selecting the perfect eyewear: Utilize knowledge of current fashion trends and eyewear styles to help customers find frames and lenses that fit their unique style and needs.
  3. Supervise and train staff: Oversee the daily operations of the store and provide guidance and support to team members. Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  4. Manage inventory and merchandising: Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are displayed effectively to maximize sales. Assist in regular inventory counts and restocking as needed.
  5. Perform administrative tasks: Assist in scheduling staff shifts, tracking sales and expenses, and other administrative duties as assigned.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized store: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times. Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints: Address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Store Manager as needed.
  8. Collaborate with the Store Manager: Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, implement marketing strategies, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and products: Attend trainings and workshops to stay current on the latest eyewear trends and products, and share this knowledge with the team.
  10. Uphold company values: Represent the company in a positive manner, adhere to company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity.

  • Previous Experience In The Optical Industry: The Ideal Candidate For An Optical Assistant Manager At Warby Parker Should Have Previous Experience Working In An Optical Setting, Either As An Optician Or In A Retail Environment.
