- Oversee and manage the entire logistics process for Warby Parker, from product sourcing to customer delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and minimize shipping costs.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and overstocking.
- Maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
- Continuously analyze and improve logistics processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Oversee the training and development of logistics team members.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Handle any logistics-related issues or delays in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare and present logistics reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipments, inventory levels, and costs.
- Identify and implement sustainable and environmentally friendly logistics practices.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the logistics team.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Logistics And Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Setting.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Familiarity With Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Wms, And An Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes And Best Practices.
