- Maintain a welcoming and friendly attitude towards customers and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Efficiently unload and sort incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise in a timely and organized manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including backroom and storage areas.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks to move merchandise as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
- Be proactive in anticipating and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Stamina And Strength: Stocking & Unloading Associates At Walmart Must Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Boxes And Merchandise Throughout Their Shift.
Attention To Detail: This Role Requires Careful Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Stock And Organize Merchandise On Shelves And In Storage Areas.
Time Management Skills: Stocking & Unloading Associates Must Be Able To Work Efficiently And Manage Their Time Effectively In Order To Meet Daily Stocking Goals And Ensure Merchandise Is Readily Available For Customers.
Teamwork And Communication: This Position Involves Working Closely With Other Associates And Communicating Effectively With Team Members And Supervisors To Ensure A Smooth And Efficient Stocking Process.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Stocking & Unloading Associates At Walmart Must Be Able To Work Quickly And Efficiently In A Fast-Paced And Often Hectic Retail Environment. This Includes Being Able To Handle High Volumes Of Merchandise And Adapting To Changing Priorities And Tasks.
