  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and user needs in order to create innovative and user-friendly experiences for Walmart's digital platforms.
  2. Use your expertise in UX design to lead and drive the design process, from ideation to execution, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  3. Conduct user research, such as usability testing and user interviews, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  5. Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  6. Advocate for the user, ensuring that their needs and feedback are taken into consideration in all design decisions.
  7. Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and according to specifications.
  8. Mentor and lead junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
  9. Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders, including presenting designs and incorporating feedback.
  10. Work within project timelines and budgets, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  11. Manage and prioritize tasks effectively, seeking assistance and delegating when necessary to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  12. Maintain and update design documentation, including design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
  13. Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future design decisions.
  14. Collaborate with product managers and other team members to define project goals and deliverables.
  15. Represent Walmart's brand and design standards in all digital experiences, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across platforms.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Ux Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Ux Design, With A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Work On Various Digital Platforms And Products.

  • Strong Knowledge Of User-Centered Design Principles: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And Methodologies, And Be Able To Apply Them In All Stages Of The Design Process.

  • Proficiency In Ux Design Tools: The Candidate Should Have A High Level Of Proficiency In Industry-Standard Ux Design Tools Such As Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, And Axure.

  • Leadership And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Ux Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And External Partners.

  • Experience In Retail Or E-Commerce Industry: A Background In Retail Or E-Commerce Industry Is Highly Preferred, As It Will Give The Candidate A Better Understanding Of Walmart's Customer Base And Business Goals.
