- Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment, systems, and facilities within the Walmart store, in accordance with company standards and procedures
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, identifying and addressing any potential issues or malfunctions
- Create and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Communicate effectively with store management and other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to store operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any maintenance-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilize knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during maintenance procedures
- Keep updated on the latest industry developments and techniques in preventative maintenance to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to store management and customers by promptly addressing any maintenance concerns or requests
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members as needed.
Knowledge Of Maintenance Procedures: A Preventative Maintenance Technician At Walmart Should Be Well-Versed In Various Maintenance Procedures And Techniques, Including But Not Limited To Electrical, Plumbing, And Hvac Systems.
Experience With Preventative Maintenance Software: Walmart Utilizes Preventative Maintenance Software To Track And Schedule Maintenance Tasks. Therefore, A Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience Working With Such Software To Efficiently Manage And Document Maintenance Activities.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem-Solve: As A Preventative Maintenance Technician, One Must Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Potential Issues Before They Become Major Problems. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Think Critically.
Attention To Detail: Preventative Maintenance Involves Following Specific Guidelines And Procedures To Ensure Equipment And Systems Are Working At Their Best. A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify Any Potential Issues Or Areas For Improvement.
