Power Equipment Operator

We are looking for an experienced Power Equipment Operator to join Walmart’s team. This position requires a highly organized and motivated individual who is able to work accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. The Power Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely operating a variety of motorized equipment to load, unload, and move merchandise within the store.The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of experience operating power equipment. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities:

1. Operate a variety of power equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other motorized equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Load and unload merchandise onto and off of pallets or shelves.
3. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
4. Monitor and inspect power equipment on a regular basis to ensure safe operation.
5. Transport merchandise within the store, as needed.
6. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
7. Follow instructions from supervisors and management staff.
8. Work independently or as part of a team, as required.
9. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
