5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and costs for reporting purposes.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and purchasing, to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
7. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store managers and address any urgent issues in a timely manner.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure the quality and timely completion of maintenance projects.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
10. Monitor and manage the maintenance budget for the designated area, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
11. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in maintenance management and implement them to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the maintenance team and provide guidance and support to team members when needed.
13. Uphold Walmart's standards of customer service and cleanliness by maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
14. Handle any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by upper management.
