Extensive Experience In Maintenance Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Maintenance Management Position, Preferably In A Retail Or Large Commercial Setting. This Experience Should Include Overseeing A Team Of Maintenance Technicians And Managing A Maintenance Budget.
Strong Technical Skills: A Successful Maintenance Manager At Walmart Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Maintenance Systems And Equipment, Such As Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And Building Automation Systems. They Should Also Have The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Technical Issues Efficiently.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Maintenance Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Maintenance Technicians. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team To Achieve Departmental Goals.
