- Maintain a clean and organized store by regularly cleaning and restocking shelves.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding customer service, safety, and inventory management.
- Continuously update knowledge of products, promotions, and sales to effectively assist customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.
- Proactively identify and resolve any customer concerns or complaints.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to contribute to the overall success of the store.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Academic Skills Such As Reading, Writing, And Math.
Customer Service Experience: As A General Merchandise Associate, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Having Previous Customer Service Experience Will Demonstrate Your Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries, Complaints, And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Standing For Long Periods, Repetitive Lifting And Carrying Of Merchandise, And The Ability To Bend, Twist, And Reach. Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Without Difficulty.
