Freight Handler

We’re looking for a Freight Handler to join our team at Walmart! Our ideal candidate is someone who is a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic. Our Freight Handlers play a crucial role in ensuring our stores are stocked with the right merchandise on time. To be successful in this role, you need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a warehouse and/or retail setting is preferred. Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming freight and stock shelves with merchandise
• Receive, check, and store merchandise in the warehouse
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counting
• Ensure accuracy of orders and shipments
• Load and unload trucks
• Label and organize products for easy identification
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment
• Follow safety and security procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
