- Receive incoming merchandise and verify accuracy of shipment against packing lists.
- Organize and sort merchandise according to established procedures and departmental standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move merchandise as needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers, including heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to designated areas.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with merchandise to management in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers as needed.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped merchandise.
- Participate in regular training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and make suggestions to management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic, promoting a productive and team-oriented work environment.
