- Receive and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
- Organize and prioritize merchandise for efficient movement throughout the store.
- Operate various equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move merchandise to designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet productivity goals.
- Accurately record inventory and maintain inventory levels.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing merchandise to management.
- Assist in unloading and loading trucks, verifying and sorting merchandise according to purchase orders.
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling merchandise and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Strive to provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or inquiries.
- Continuously improve work processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed, such as stocking shelves and assisting customers.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Walmart brand to customers and fellow team members.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning merchandise handling and safety.
