Job Description

Walmart is looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced and innovative IT team. The ideal candidate is not only a technical expert, but also a strategic thinker who can evaluate and provide meaningful insights into our cloud infrastructure.We are looking for someone with a strong background in cloud-based DevOps technologies, with an in-depth understanding of cloud storage, compute, networking, and security. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, 3+ years of experience in cloud DevOps, and a strong knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, experience working with various scripting languages, and a track record of successful projects in the past.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure.
  2. Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality solutions that meet customer requirements.
  3. Monitor cloud performance and optimize usage for cost savings.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug cloud issues.
  5. Develop and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual tasks.
  6. Implement and maintain security best practices.
  7. Design and implement DevOps processes and standards.
  8. Research and develop new tools and technologies to improve cloud performance and scalability.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring colleagues on cloud DevOps technologies.
  10. Establish cloud governance and standards.
