Job Description

We are currently seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Cashier & Front End Services associate. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing efficient and accurate checkout services while also assisting with various front end tasks.   1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the cash register, ensuring that all items are scanned and totaled correctly.
  3. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions in a responsible and organized manner.
  4. Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all supplies are well-stocked and easily accessible.
  6. Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies, providing a hassle-free experience for the customer.
  7. Assist with bagging and packaging items for customers, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
  8. Assist with various front end tasks, such as restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a neat and orderly store appearance.
  9. Follow all safety and security protocols to protect both customers and store assets.
  10. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay up-to-date on store policies, procedures, and promotions.
  11. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the front end services.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed customer expectations, going above and beyond to provide exceptional service.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor to contribute to the overall success of the store.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: A Successful Cashier & Front End Services Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Such As Cashier, Retail Associate, Or Food Service Worker.

  • Cash Handling Skills: As A Cashier, The Ability To Accurately Handle Cash, Credit, And Debit Transactions Is Crucial. Candidates Should Have Basic Math Skills And Be Comfortable Using A Cash Register Or Point Of Sale System.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Working In A Busy Retail Environment, Cashiers Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers, Coworkers, And Managers. This Includes Being Able To Handle Difficult Or Upset Customers With Professionalism And Empathy.

  • Attention To Detail: A Good Cashier Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Accurately Scan, Check, And Bag Items For Customers. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Resolve Any Discrepancies Or Errors In Transactions.

  • Team Player Mentality: As Part Of The Front End Services Team, A Cashier Must Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Others To Ensure A Smooth And Efficient Customer Experience. They Should Also Be Willing To Assist Other Team Members With Tasks As Needed.
