- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival at the store.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or other payment systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Assist with bagging and carrying out items for customers as needed.
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep up-to-date on current promotions and sales to inform customers and encourage additional purchases.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations at the front end of the store.
- Actively listen to customer feedback and escalate any issues or complaints to the appropriate manager.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
