
Assistant General Manager

- Oversee daily operations of the store, including but not limited to sales, customer service, inventory management, and team member performance.
- Assist the General Manager in setting and achieving store goals and targets, and ensure all team members are aligned with these objectives.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular store walks to assess and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner, and take necessary actions to resolve issues and retain customers.
- Manage and control inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet customer demands, and minimize shrinkage and waste.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for existing team members.
- Monitor and manage store expenses, including labor costs, and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and collaboration among all team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and guidance to team members, and address any performance issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, and uphold the Walmart brand and values.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Large-Scale Store Or Multi-Store Environment.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Large Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Customers, Employees, And Upper Management.
Proficiency In Financial Analysis And Budget Management, With The Ability To Drive Sales And Meet Profit Goals.
