Job Description

As the Assistant General Manager at Walmart, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who excels at problem solving and thinking on their feet. The successful candidate will have great organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks at once. We require a minimum of two years’ experience in retail and prior experience managing a team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity and initiative to take our customer service to the next level. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate a team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operation of the store.
  2. Maintain a high level of customer service and assist customers with queries.
  3. Manage store operations including staff scheduling, stock management, and overseeing the daily running of the store.
  4. Monitor store performance and suggest strategies for improving sales and efficiency.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store policies and procedures.
  6. Develop training programs for new and existing staff to ensure they are up to speed with the store’s policies and procedures.
  7. Develop customer loyalty initiatives and initiatives for boosting sales.
  8. Analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Take the lead on problem solving and making decisions.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
