- Greet and welcome customers to Walgreens in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or inquiries.
- Supervise and lead a team of store associates during assigned shifts.
- Train and coach team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Monitor store operations and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for products as needed.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, including opening and closing cash registers.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and increasing sales.
- Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to team members to ensure adequate coverage during shifts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales and customer service goals.
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and company initiatives to effectively assist customers.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by store management.
Previous Retail Experience: A Shift Lead At Walgreens Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role. This Experience Will Help Them Understand The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Store And How To Effectively Manage A Team.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Shift Lead, One Will Be Responsible For Delegating Tasks And Communicating With Both Team Members And Upper Management. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Managing A Team And Maintaining Open And Transparent Communication Within The Store.
Leadership Abilities: A Shift Lead Should Be Able To Lead By Example And Motivate Their Team To Meet And Exceed Sales Goals. They Should Be Able To Make Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Any Conflicts Or Issues That May Arise With Team Members.
Customer Service Orientation: Walgreens Puts A Strong Emphasis On Providing Excellent Customer Service, And A Shift Lead Should Have A Customer-Centric Mindset. They Should Be Able To Handle Customer Complaints And Ensure That All Team Members Are Providing Top-Notch Service To Every Customer.
