Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our Walgreens team. In this role, you will work closely with our pharmacists to ensure that our customers receive their medications in a timely and accurate manner. To be successful in this role, you must be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
2. Check for accuracy of prescription information and dosage.
3. Accept and process prescription requests from customers.
4. Maintain records of all prescriptions filled and dispensed.
5. Ensure that all medications are properly labeled and stored.
6. Provide excellent customer service to customers in store and over the phone.
7. Answer customer questions regarding medication instructions, usage, and side effects.
8. Maintain inventory of medications and order new stock as necessary.
9. Follow all safety and legal regulations for dispensing medications.
10. Assist with other duties as needed.
