Pharmacy Technician

The Walgreens Pharmacy is now seeking an experienced and reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We’re looking for a team player who can provide exceptional customer service and support our pharmacists as they help our customers get the medications they need. Our ideal candidate is passionate about helping others and has a strong background in pharmacy operations. The successful Pharmacy Technician must have experience in a retail and/or hospital pharmacy setting, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacist in providing medication and other health care products to customers in a timely, safe, and accurate manner.
2. Receive, prepare, and fill prescriptions according to physicians’ orders.
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of prescription orders.
4. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding medications and other health care products.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory of medications and other health care products.
6. Maintain proper storage and security procedures for medications and other health care products.
7. Process third-party insurance claims and other paperwork.
8. Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
9. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy.
10. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
