  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of multiple pharmacies within the Walgreens organization.

  3. Implement and maintain operational procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  4. Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to drive results.

  6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications and supplies.

  9. Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  10. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve pharmacy operations.
  11. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
  12. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  13. Communicate and coordinate with upper management regarding operational performance and areas for improvement.
  14. Foster a culture of excellence in customer service and ensure all staff adhere to company standards.
  15. Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Pharmacy Or A Related Field Is Essential For A Pharmacy Operations Manager At Walgreens. This Qualification Ensures The Individual Has A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmaceuticals And The Operations Of A Pharmacy.

  • State Pharmacy License: In Order To Manage The Operations Of A Pharmacy, The Candidate Must Have A Valid State Pharmacy License. This Requirement Ensures That The Individual Is Knowledgeable About State Laws And Regulations Pertaining To The Pharmaceutical Industry.
