  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and oversee supply management to ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.
  3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  4. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
  5. Train and supervise pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure smooth and effective operations.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for changes to improve operations.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  10. Handle any customer or employee concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to pharmacy staff.
  12. Manage the budget for pharmacy operations, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the pharmacy team.
  14. Stay up-to-date on all Walgreens policies and procedures, and ensure compliance among all pharmacy staff.
  15. Act as a liaison between the pharmacy and other departments within Walgreens, as well as external stakeholders such as healthcare providers and insurance companies.
