- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure they understand their medication and any instructions from the pharmacist.
- Assist pharmacists with filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process insurance claims and assist with billing inquiries.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability of medications.
- Educate customers on over-the-counter medications and other health products.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Continuously strive to improve customer service processes and procedures.
- Attend trainings and stay updated on new medications and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Excellent Communication Skills: A Pharmacy Customer Service Associate Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Colleagues.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Products And Services: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Prescription Medications, Over-The-Counter Drugs, And Other Products And Services Offered At Walgreens.
Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Retail Pharmacy Setting, Is Highly Desirable. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries, Complaints, And Requests In A Professional And Efficient Manner.
Attention To Detail: As A Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Handling Sensitive Information And Accurately Inputting Data Into The Pharmacy's Computer Systems. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of The Customers.
