- Maintain a thorough understanding of pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations to accurately answer customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate service.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, new medications, and insurance plans to effectively assist customers.
- Follow all safety and security protocols to protect customers and staff.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, to maintain customer confidentiality.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay informed about changes in the pharmacy industry and company policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to promote customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and address any potential issues or concerns to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Pharmacy Customer Service Associate Must Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Other Pharmacy Staff.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Filling Prescriptions, Insurance Billing, And Inventory Management.
