Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers, Both In-Person And Over The Phone. A Pharmacy Customer Service Associate Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively And Professionally With A Diverse Range Of Customers.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: Candidates Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Terminology, Including Medication Types, Dosages, And Refill Procedures. This Will Allow Them To Assist Customers With Prescription-Related Inquiries And Provide Accurate Information.
Customer Service Experience: Prior Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. Candidates Should Be Able To Handle Challenging Customer Interactions And Prioritize Customer Satisfaction.
