Pharmacy Cashier

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Pharmacy Cashier to join our team at Walgreens. This individual must have an enthusiastic and customer-centric attitude and be able to provide excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate should have a professional demeanor with a passion for helping others. The Pharmacy Cashier should be organized and detail-oriented, have a strong background in customer service, and a good understanding of cash handling. The Pharmacy Cashier must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to handle a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing payments, assisting customers with purchases, greeting customers, and answering questions. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Cash handling experience• Excellent customer service skills• Strong communication and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Familiarity with pharmacy regulations

Responsibilities: • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures • Assist customers with purchases, providing information and advice on product availability, use and pricing • Greet customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner • Answer customer questions and resolve any issues they may have • Ensure the pharmacy shelves are stocked and organized • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Follow all pharmacy regulations and maintain compliance with all applicable laws • Remain up to date with new products, services, and other relevant information • Assist in any other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Supervisor.
