
Pharmacy Cashier

- Maintain a neat and organized pharmacy counter and work area.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Verify and input prescription information accurately into the computer system.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
- Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of pharmacy products and services.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep track of inventory and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies are running low.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Cashier At Walgreens Should Possess At Least A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent. This Shows A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding Of Basic Math And Communication Skills.
Cash Handling Experience: Previous Experience In Handling Cash Transactions Is Important For A Pharmacy Cashier At Walgreens. This Includes Counting Money, Making Change, And Using A Cash Register.
Basic Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations: While A Pharmacy Cashier Is Not Required To Have A Background In Pharmacy, Having Basic Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Such As Prescription Processing And Insurance Coverage, Is Beneficial.
