  1. Dispensing Medications: The primary responsibility of the Pharmacist will be to accurately dispense medications to customers, ensuring that all prescriptions are filled correctly and in a timely manner.
  2. Patient Counseling: The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing patient counseling on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and any drug interactions to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
  3. Inventory Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and maintaining pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking medication stock levels.
  4. Compliance with Regulations: It will be the responsibility of the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to the dispensing of medications and the operation of the pharmacy.
  5. Team Collaboration: The Pharmacist will work closely with other members of the pharmacy team, including Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants, to ensure smooth and efficient operations and provide exceptional customer service.
  6. Customer Service: As a representative of Walgreens, the Pharmacist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all patients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  7. Quality Assurance: The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all prescription orders, as well as monitoring and reporting any adverse drug reactions.
  8. Continuous Learning: The Pharmacist will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments and research in the pharmaceutical industry and incorporating this knowledge into their practice.
  9. Maintaining Clean and Organized Workplace: It will be the responsibility of the Pharmacist to maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dispensing area, storage areas, and consultation areas.
  10. Professional Development: The Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining their license and participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy From An Accredited Institution Is Required For This Position.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Possess A Valid And Current License To Practice Pharmacy In The State Where The Walgreens Store Is Located.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Pharmacist, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members Is Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals: Extensive Knowledge Of Medications, Drug Interactions, And Dosage Is Crucial For This Role.

  • Customer Service Experience: Walgreens Values Exceptional Customer Service And Seeks Candidates With Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role. Prior Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting Is Also Preferred.
