We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our tax team as our Tax Audits and Controversy Manager.In this role, you will be responsible for managing all tax audits and controversy matters for Walgreens. You will work closely with our tax team, outside counsel, and government agencies to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as experience managing audits and controversy matters.   18. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  19. Conduct trainings and workshops for internal teams on tax-related topics.
  20. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax information to senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate For The Manager - Tax Audits And Controversy Role At Walgreens Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Laws And Regulations. They Should Also Have A Thorough Understanding Of Tax Planning And Compliance Strategies.

This Experience Should Include Handling Complex Tax Disputes And Successfully Resolving Them.
