  1. Maintain accurate inventory levels: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for regularly monitoring and updating inventory levels to ensure that products are always available for customers.
  2. Monitor product expiration dates: The specialist will be responsible for tracking product expiration dates and ensuring that expired products are removed from shelves in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct inventory audits: The specialist will perform regular audits of inventory to identify any discrepancies and take corrective action to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  4. Receive and process shipments: The specialist will receive and process incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of items received and updating inventory accordingly.
  5. Organize and manage inventory storage: The specialist will be responsible for organizing and managing inventory storage areas to ensure efficient product retrieval and accurate tracking.
  6. Collaborate with vendors: The specialist will work closely with vendors to coordinate product deliveries and resolve any issues related to inventory.
  7. Assist with inventory ordering: The specialist may be involved in the process of ordering new inventory, working with store managers to determine appropriate inventory levels based on customer demand.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service: As a representative of Walgreens, the inventory specialist will provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any inventory-related issues or inquiries from customers.
  9. Train and mentor new employees: The specialist may be responsible for training and mentoring new employees on inventory processes and procedures.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment: The specialist will ensure that inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  11. Keep accurate records: The specialist will maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and other relevant information for reporting purposes.
