Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist at Walgreens, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the timely and efficient restocking of our shelves. This position requires someone who is highly motivated, with strong communication skills and a passion for maintaining a well-stocked and organized store.   1. Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
  2. Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely restocking of products on shelves.
  3. Communicate with store management and vendors to coordinate product orders and deliveries.
  4. Organize and maintain the stockroom and shelves to ensure a neat and orderly appearance.
  5. Assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise, checking for accuracy and quality.
  6. Label and price products accurately to ensure consistency and efficiency for customers.
  7. Collaborate with sales associates to identify and report any low or out of stock items.
  8. Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste and loss.
  9. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and stay informed about any new or discontinued items.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing excellent customer service.
  11. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safe and proper handling of inventory.
  12. Train and mentor new employees on inventory procedures and expectations.
  13. Continuously monitor and report on inventory trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  14. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and accounting, to ensure accurate inventory data.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  17. Comply with all safety and security guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
