- Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely restocking of products on shelves.
- Communicate with store management and vendors to coordinate product orders and deliveries.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom and shelves to ensure a neat and orderly appearance.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise, checking for accuracy and quality.
- Label and price products accurately to ensure consistency and efficiency for customers.
- Collaborate with sales associates to identify and report any low or out of stock items.
- Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste and loss.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and stay informed about any new or discontinued items.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing excellent customer service.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safe and proper handling of inventory.
- Train and mentor new employees on inventory procedures and expectations.
- Continuously monitor and report on inventory trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and accounting, to ensure accurate inventory data.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems: The Ideal Candidate For An Inventory Specialist At Walgreens Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Inventory Management Systems And Be Able To Navigate Them Efficiently. This Includes Experience With Using Barcode Scanners, Pos Systems, And Inventory Tracking Software.
