  4. Negotiate and secure licensing agreements that drive business growth and profitability.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all licensing agreements meet legal and brand standards.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform licensing strategy.
  7. Develop and manage the licensing budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of licensing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  9. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and identify new licensing opportunities.
  10. Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, regulations, and standards.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and implement innovative strategies to enhance the company's licensing program.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute co-branded promotions and campaigns with licensing partners.
  13. Provide regular reports and updates on the status of licensing agreements and partnerships to senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Licensing: A Director Of Licensing At Walgreens Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Licensing, Preferably In The Retail Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Licensing Processes, Negotiation Tactics, And Industry Trends.

  • Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication And Negotiation Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With Licensors And Other Key Stakeholders. They Should Be Able To Identify New Opportunities And Make Strategic Decisions That Will Benefit The Organization In The Long Run.

  • Financial Acumen: A Successful Director Of Licensing Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Be Able To Analyze Licensing Agreements To Ensure They Are Financially Beneficial For The Company. They Should Also Be Able To Manage A Licensing Budget And Track Expenses.

  • Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Licensing Professionals.
