5. Prepare Medication Orders: Measure, mix, count, and label medications for dispensing to patients, following all safety protocols and procedures.
6. Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Communicate and collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications and to address any patient concerns or inquiries.
7. Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
8. Maintain Records: Accurately and timely document and maintain patient records, prescriptions, and other necessary paperwork.
9. Educate Patients: Provide patients with information and education on medication usage, potential side effects, and any other relevant information to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
10. Support Pharmacy Operations: Assist with various tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the pharmacy, including but not limited to, cleaning and maintaining equipment, organizing inventory, and completing administrative tasks.
