Store Associate

We are looking for a motivated and professional Store Associate to join our team at Vons! Our ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, have the ability to multi-task, and have a passion for providing superior service to our customers.The successful Store Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including stocking shelves, cashiering, and providing customer service. The Store Associate must have strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality. It is also essential that they have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications:• High school diploma/GED• Cash handling experience• Previous retail/grocery experience preferred• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs• Flexibility in scheduling (evenings and weekends)• Willingness to learn and grow with the company• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service • Stock shelves with merchandise and keep shelves organized • Process customer transactions, answer questions, and provide assistance • Ensure accuracy of customer orders, including proper item selection and pricing • Maintain cleanliness of store, including restocking, sweeping, and cleaning • Assist in unloading and stocking of inventory • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures • Assist in training new store associates • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
