Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, customer-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Vons. You will be responsible for helping our customers fill their prescriptions, and ensuring that our pharmacy operates smoothly. If you have a passion for customer service, a commitment to accuracy, and an eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you!To be successful in this role, you must have a current Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California, as well as a minimum of three years’ experience working in a pharmacy. You should also be comfortable using computer systems and other technology, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Most importantly, you must have a genuine interest in helping customers receive the best possible care. Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers and answer questions regarding their prescriptions.
  2. Assist customers in filling their prescriptions accurately.
  3. Maintain a neat and organized pharmacy workspace.
  4. Input customer data and prescription information into computer systems.
  5. Contact physicians or insurance companies to verify customer information.
  6. Process payments and manage customer accounts.
  7. Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy regulations.
  9. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Ensure all medications are stored and handled properly.
