Beverage Steward

Vons is looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Beverage Steward to join our team and ensure that our store offers the highest quality beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service and a strong knowledge of the beverage industry. If you are a motivated individual with a commitment to quality and a knack for problem-solving, we would love to hear from you!The Beverage Steward will be responsible for maintaining the beverage selection, stocking shelves, and ensuring that all product is presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner. In addition, the Beverage Steward will be required to assist customers with product selection and answer any questions they may have.Required qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience in retail and/or food service, and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate must also possess basic math and computer skills, as well as a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilites of a Beverage Steward:

• Maintain beverage selection and ensure all product is displayed in an aesthetically pleasing manner
• Stock shelves and keep shelves organized and clean
• Assist customers with product selection and answer any questions
• Ensure high standards of customer service and quality
• Process payments and operate POS systems
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Restock shelves as needed
• Keep the store clean and orderly
• Follow store policies and procedures
• Assist with training and development of new employees
