Beverage Steward

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction by providing customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
2. Monitor and replenish beverage inventories, restock shelves, and rotate product as needed.
3. Promote and upsell beverage items, such as wines, craft beers, and specialty liquors.
4. Maintain a clean and organized beverage department.
5. Research emerging trends and new products in the beverage industry.
6. Monitor the expiration dates of beverages and remove expired items from shelves.
7. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
8. Assist customers with special orders and inquiries.
9. Assist with placing orders for new beverage items.
10. Participate in beverage-related events and tastings.
