Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate UX Design Lead to join our dynamic team at Volvo Group's GTO Digital Products division. As the UX Design Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating and shaping the user experience for our digital products, ultimately driving the success of our business.   1. Lead and oversee the design process for all digital products within the Volvo Group's GTO division, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience.
  2. Create and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the user experience, taking into consideration both business objectives and user needs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  4. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  5. Mentor and guide a team of designers, providing feedback and coaching to help them grow and thrive in their roles.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, and leverage this knowledge to constantly improve the user experience of our products.
  7. Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  8. Act as an advocate for user-centered design, championing the importance of user experience within the organization.
  9. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines.
  10. Collaborate with other design leads within the organization to share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the design team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Ux Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Ux Designer, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading The Design And Development Of Digital Products, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And Methodologies, With The Ability To Apply Them To Complex Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
