- Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for our software products.
- Lead a team of test automation engineers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of the strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop test plans and scripts.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Conduct regular reviews of test scripts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues with test automation processes and work towards resolution.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the test automation process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to test automation.
- Train and mentor team members on test automation techniques and tools.
- Track and report on test automation metrics to stakeholders.
- Work closely with software developers and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
- Participate in project planning and provide inputs on test automation efforts and timelines.

In-Depth Knowledge Of Test Automation Tools And Frameworks: A Test Automation Lead At Volvo Group Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Test Automation Tools And Frameworks Such As Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, And Robot Framework. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing Automated Test Scripts Using These Tools To Ensure Efficient And Effective Testing Processes.
Proficiency In Programming Languages: A Successful Test Automation Lead Should Possess A High Level Of Proficiency In One Or More Programming Languages Such As Java, C#, Python, Or Javascript. This Is Necessary For Creating And Maintaining Automation Frameworks And Scripts.
Experience In Leading Test Automation Projects: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience In Leading Test Automation Projects, Managing A Team Of Automation Testers, And Coordinating With Other Stakeholders. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Delivery And Meeting Project Timelines.
