- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in the automotive industry.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the highest quality and efficiency for the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the supply chain.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve any quality or delivery issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain.
- Develop and implement supplier development strategies to drive long-term growth and partnership.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish and maintain supplier quality standards and requirements.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on supplier development best practices and processes.
- Represent the company in supplier meetings and negotiations.
- Communicate and align expectations with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of components.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards to ensure compliance in supplier development processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement supplier development training programs.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Supplier Development Or Supplier Quality Engineering.
Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing And Supply Chain Processes.
Experience Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Supplier Relationships.
